A RV was blown over and rolled several times at the Texas Motorplex near Ennis. One man was killed and 4 others were injured.

Thunderstorms formed near and behind a slow moving cold front as an upper trough worked its way through the Plains. Storms produced a combination of large hail and very intense damaging winds up to 85-90 mph. One person was killed in Ellis County when the RV he was in was blown over and rolled several times.
