Mesonet station TORNV 9.8 NE Trinity Junction (NV DOT), and Mesonet station SHKNV 5.6 W Fallon (NV DOT) reported wind gusts of 59 and 58 mph, respectively. Mesonet station MWQ63, Sutcliffe/Pyramid Lake, reported a wind gust of 59 mph as well.

Potent winter storm brough the most widespread strong wind event of the month on March 16, followed by heavy Sierra Snow and decent rain totals for the lower elevation of northeast California. In western Nevada, liquid totals were generally light.
