A 49 mph wind gust was recorded along an observation site along Interstate 91 near Rockingham.

Strong winds developed across southern Vermont in the wake of a cold front beginning in the afternoon hours on March 6, 2025 and continued into March 7, 2025. Widespread wind gusts between 40 and 55 mph were observed. Strong winds continued on March 8 but were not as strong with some peak gusts between 40 and 50 mph.
