Palisades Tahoe Ski area reported 15 inches of new snow at the upper mountain in the past 24 hours. Heavenly ski base reported 12 inches of new snow, with 13 inches at Tahoe Donner Ski Area.

Multiple waves of moisture within a cold area of low pressure brought periods of higher elevation snow and lower elevation rain to the Sierra and northeast California.
