A brief period of strong winds occurred across portions of western Massachusetts during the evening hours on March 22, 2025 in the wake of a passing cold front. Wind gusts between 40 and 50 mph occurred in some areas with a peak gust of 51 mph at the Pittsfield Municipal Airport.
