Event narrative

A tornado touched down in in a field just south of Martin Road and then snapped a few pine trees as it crossed the road. The tornado then continued northeast across mainly streams, forest and open fields before causing minor damage to the Early County Elementary School and a nearby tree. The tornado likely lifted before reaching Freeman Road. The tree damage supports a maximum wind of 80 mph and an EF0 rating.

Severe storms ahead a cold front produced wind damage a few tornadoes across portions of the Florida big bend and southwest Georgia.
