Many, many mesonets observed wind chills of -35 or less, including mesonet sensor GW3546, which measured a -41 F wind chill.

The wider storm

Several waves ejecting from an upper level low near the Pacific NW coast resulted in periods of snow at times, with cold air filtering in from Canada resulting in extreme cold in northern areas. Overall the snow event fell short of expectations, but there were still a few locations that saw heavy snow.
