Multiple rounds of precipitation moved across southern Vermont on March 29-30, 2025. A wedge of cold air near the surface led to rounds of freezing rain. Flat ice accumulations in excess of 0.50 inches occurred in parts of the area resulting in high accretion on trees and power lines. Some trees and wires were downed resulting in some power outages.
