The Truth or Consequences golf course recorded a peak gust of 59 mph.

Wider weather episode

An upper trough extended southwest through the Four Corners into the Baja region with a 140 knot jet moving just south of the New Mexico border. This trough combined with a deep surface low over southeastern Colorado brought wind gusts up to 90 mph to the region.
