Storm total snow accumulations ranged from 4 to 6 inches.

Low pressure approached from the Great Lakes...with a secondary low developing across the Gulf of Maine...during the 24th. The secondary low then exited across the Maritimes through the night of the 24th into the 25th. Snow developed during the afternoon of the 24th and persisted through late evening. The greatest snow totals occurred in a region from southeast Aroostook to central Piscataquis counties across interior Downeast areas. Snow totals across this region generally ranged from 3 to 5 inches...locally to around 6 inches. Lower snow totals occurred across northern Aroostook county due to the greater distance from the low track. Lesser snow totals also occurred along the Downeast coast due to a mix with rain.
