Event narrative

The Fort Johnson range control reported trees down in the Mill Creek and Range 15 training areas. The damage was in association with a TDS noted on the KPOE radar and analyzed on satellite imagery. Due to access issues, max estimated wind speed and path width is unknown.

Wider weather episode

A strong low pressure system moved across the plains during early March. The associated cold front and upper disturbance triggered severe weather over Louisiana during Mardi Gras.
