Wider weather episode

Two rounds of storms developed throughout the day on March 28th and produced large hail across southeast Minnesota. The first of these occurred early in the morning when a storm moved through portions of Fillmore and Houston counties, producing up to ping pong ball sized hail. Later that day during the afternoon and evening, additional storms developed and produced hail up to half dollar sized.
