The wider storm

During the first week of March, a powerful mid-latitude cyclone progressed through the Upper Midwest overnight on the 4th and into the morning and afternoon on the 5th. Overall, snow accumulations across western Wisconsin were generally light, however gusty winds up to 35 mph led to some locally hazardous travel conditions at times.
