Port of Milwaukee (MLWW3) C-MAN Station measured a 39 knot or 45 mph wind gust at 0000z (05/16/2025).

Wider weather episode

Strong low pressure system moved across northern WI bringing a round of severe weather across WI with large hail, tornadoes, and damaging winds across southern WI. As the lines of showers pushed into the lakeshore areas, the threat turn more toward strong damaging winds with numerous +60 mph gusts and damage along the lakeshore. Particularly damage to numerous tree from a microburst on Wind point in Racine County.
