A tree branch with a width estimated to be 1.5 - 2 feet in diameter fell onto a parked car, causing significant damage to a parked car. Winds are estimated to be 65 MPH, given the size of the branch that fell while also taking into consideration that the branch appeared to be unhealthy in the image.

Wider weather episode

On May 10th, instability increased across higher terrain in southwest Idaho ahead of an incoming upper-level trough. This allowed for thunderstorms to develop across southwest Idaho. With a dry boundary layer and inverted-V soundings, thunderstorm wind gusts were the primary hazard associated with the storms.
