An NWS employee reported a landslide along PR-66. There was a small landslide near the PR-66 intersection with PR-853. The debris affected the emergency lane heading from Carolina to Rio Grande.

Wider weather episode

A stationary front stretching across the Atlantic and an induced trough over the northeastern Caribbean produced lighter winds and aided in the development of slow-moving showers from streamers over northeastern Puerto Rico.
