The Boone County Airport ASOS measured 0.26 inches of ice accretion due to freezing rain.

Wider weather episode

A round of rainfall, sometimes heavy at times, moved across much of Arkansas on the morning of the 11th. Over northern Arkansas, shallow cold remained in place near the surface. When precipitation fell in these locations, freezing rain accretion was observed up to one-quarter of an inch in places.
