a thunderstorm wind gust of 42 mph.
Wider weather episode
SW steering flow pushed a more dominant west coast sea breeze inland over a moist and unstable airmass. Sea breeze and boundary mergers focused toward the I-95 corridor eastward where isolated strong storms produced gusty winds and small hail as they moved offshore.
