The Ellensburg Airport ASOS, as well as several co-op stations in the area, recorded sub-freezing temperatures through much of the overnight hours through the early morning of 4/17.

Wider weather episode

On the morning of April 17th, northerly flow over the Pacific Northwest allowed for temperatures to drop below freezing for much of the lowlands of the forecast area.
