Event narrative
A thunderstorm produced tennis ball size hail in Jourdanton.
Wider weather episode
Two areas of severe thunderstorms developed. During the late afternoon storms formed along a dryline over the southern central part of the area and produced large hail. Later in the evening a line of storms that formed along a stationary front in North Texas moved into the northeastern part of the area bringing additional large hail.
