Heavy rain caused Cherry Creek to rise with water reaching the Cheery Creek Bike Trail.

Wider weather episode

Strong thunderstorms produced hail up to three-quarter inch in diameter and locally heavy rainfall. Some creeks rose in response to the heavy rain, but other than water on bike paths next to Cherry Creek, no water issues were noted.
