A 61 mph thunderstorm wind gust was measured west southwest of Laurie, Missouri.

Wider weather episode

Severe thunderstorms, including a tornado occurred during the afternoon of June 3rd. A line of thunderstorms then moved through during the evening. Quarter size hail and damaging wind gusts also occurred, mainly across central Missouri, north of Interstate 44.
