Event narrative

Thunderstorm wind gusts of at least 70 mph downed numerous trees in the Gravois Mills and Laurie areas. Some trees landed on homes.

Wider weather episode

Severe thunderstorms, including a tornado occurred during the afternoon of June 3rd. A line of thunderstorms then moved through during the evening. Quarter size hail and damaging wind gusts also occurred, mainly across central Missouri, north of Interstate 44.
