Wider weather episode

A triple point set up across central Pennsylvania and continued moving southeast during the evening hours of April 5, 2025 with elevated instability, ample shear, moisture, and lift in place across the southern tier of Pennsylvania. As showers and thunderstorms moved into the southern half of Pennsylvania, decreasing instability as sunset occurred led to strong thunderstorms beginning to weaken, with one instance of tree damage in Adams County as a tree fell onto Baltimore Pike.
