A lake-induced mesolow convergence lake effect snow band crossed the area late in the day on the 13th, resulting in a narrow area of snowfall totals of 5 to 8 inches from Boyne City to Lovells. Highest totals were located at the NWS Gaylord, MI office, where 8.4 inches of snow fell ending 0700am on the 14th.
