Severe thunderstorm winds downed powerlines and poles near the intersection of Wartrace Pike and Ligon Drive in Shelbyville. Damages are a rough estimate.

Wider weather episode

A decaying line of thunderstorms moved through southern Middle Tennessee during the afternoon of June 7, 2025. This line of thunderstorms was generally non-severe, however, as it neared the Cumberland Plateau, it did produce damaging winds. Several reports of downed trees were received across Bedford, Coffee, and Grundy counties.
