Event narrative

Crater Lake National Park reported 13.8 inches of snow on 02/01, while the National Gridded Snowfall Analysis indicated additional storm totals of 6 to 15 inches by the end of the storm. Additional precipitation amounts in the zone included 0.59 inches at Mt. Stella, and 0.64 inches at Elbow Butte.

Wider weather episode

A cold front moving southeast out of the Gulf of Alaska continued to bring heavy snow to elevations above 5000 feet in the southern Oregon Cascades.
