Scattered thunderstorms developed ahead of a cold front during the afternoon on Sunday (6/08). The strongest storms produced quarter size hail across central Wisconsin. Lightning struck an apartment building in De Pere during the early evening, causing electrical damage and a hole in the roof where lightning hit the building. The lightning produced around $40,000 in damage to the apartment building and displaced 24 residents.
