What the National Weather Service wrote

Multiple roads closed due to high water in the Lake of the Woods area. Some roads washed out. Some roads impacted include Backgate Lane, Flatrun Road, Confederate Drive, Indiantown Road, and Lakeview Parkway.

The wider storm

A weak area of low pressure interacted with an anomalously moist airmass and stalled frontal boundary. This spawned showers and thunderstorms that resulted in localized amounts of one to five inches of rain. The higher amounts were where storms trained or stalled.

Began near Flatrun (38.3500, -77.7800).
