Road closed due to high water at least twelve inches deep flowing across the road near intersection of Tatum Road and Shirley Road. Other roads closed nearby.

Wider weather episode

A weak area of low pressure moved along a stalled frontal boundary in northern Virginia. This spawned showers and thunderstorms that resulted in localized amounts of two to four inches of rain.
