Road closed near the intersection of New Hampshire Road and Old Office Road due to high water at least 12 inches deep flowing across the road.

The wider storm

A weak area of low pressure moved along a stalled frontal boundary in northern Virginia. This spawned showers and thunderstorms that resulted in localized amounts of two to four inches of rain.

Began near Burr Hill (38.3111, -77.8889).
