Hail up to quarter-size in Louisville.

During the early afternoon through early evening of October 6th, a surface cold front moved eastward across NE OH and into NW PA. Along the front, a broken line of multicell thunderstorms developed and persisted generally eastward in NE OH. These storms produced sporadic straight-line convective wind damage and marginally-severe hail amidst moderate to strong effective bulk shear, weak to moderate MUCAPE, and moderate DCAPE in the warm and relatively-moist sector.
