A few trees were downed around Dallas County, including Highway 66 at CR 1, CR 4 at CR 85, CR 222, along Highway 22, and along Highway 41.

Several afternoons of thunderstorm activity occurred during the fourth week of May, with hail and wind damage being reported around Central Alabama over the course of four days. In addition, heavy rainfall on May 27 resulted in several impassable roadways along Terrapin Creek in Cherokee County.
