Upon the passage of a cold front, winds increased across western Massachusetts on April 8, 2025, leading to gust speeds ranging from around 30 to 40 mph. A peak wind gust of 44 mph occurred at the Pittsfield Municipal Airport. A few power outages resulted from this event, but little damage was reported.
