WYDOT sensor at Coleman on Interstate 25 measured a wind gust of 59 MPH.
Wider weather episode
A strong cold front pushed across Wyoming and into the high plains the evening of June 2nd. Scattered thunderstorms developed ahead and near the cold front and moved east and southeast into western Nebraska. Large hail and strong damaging winds were reported with these thunderstorms.
