Spotter reports a small tree down across SC 261 near Dalzell, SC.

A long wave trough continued to produce mesoscale convective systems across the southeast US on June 8. Sufficient wind shear and instability coincided with this system, moving in from the west in the morning of June 8th. Scattered damaging wind gusts and large hail were observed across the Midlands of SC.
