A tree was down on south Franklin Drive.

Several clusters of thunderstorms developed over the higher terrain and evolved into a larger storm complex as it moved east into the southwestern Piedmont and Sandhills during the evening hours. The storm complex produced a swath of wind damage from Randolph to Moore County, with scattered sub-severe hail reported as well.
