McKinley Road east of the 350 Road was closed due to portions of it being washed out.

Strong to severe thunderstorms developed across portions of eastern Oklahoma during the early morning hours of the 4th, as lift associated with an approaching upper level disturbance increased north of a stationary front across northeastern Oklahoma and southern Arkansas. The strongest storms produced large hail up to golf ball size and damaging wind gusts.

Additional rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms occurred across the area during the evening of the 4th, and then again during the early morning hours of the 5th. Locally heavy rainfall from these multiple rounds of storms resulted in some flooding. The stronger storms also produced large hail up to ping pong ball size.
