A MCS (Mesoscale Convective System) traveled along the heat ridge across the eastern half of the CONUS across southern Canada and then moved southeast across the Lake Ontario region, including clipping southwest St. Lawrence county where thunderstorm winds in excess of 60 mph were observed.
