A strong cold front moved east through western and north-central NY late Friday night into the first half of Saturday, producing some strong wind gusts that caused scattered areas of tree and powerline damage. Majority of damage reports were from the Niagara Frontier east into the lower Genesee Valley, and near the Chautauqua County shoreline.
