About ten to 15 spruce trees were snapped near the base in a video that was received.

An area of low pressure in western Minnesota brought severe storms to the Northland the afternoon and evening of the 15th. Most of the damage was to trees across the region with some areas of enhanced tree damage occurring along the North Shore in the Tofte area.
