The mesonet station at Minneapolis Shoals XMAPV recorded a peak wind gust of 42 miles per hour at 12:40 AM on the 29th associated with thunderstorms.

A low pressure lifting through the region on the 28th resulted in strong thunderstorms that produced strong winds at Minneapolis Shoals.
