A large tree was reported down on roadway at Kings River Road at Knight Circle in Pawleys Island. Tree struck a pedestrian who was running on the bike path, who was then transported to the hospital.

A line of severe thunderstorms moved southwest across the area around the southeast side of an upper level high in near record heat for June.
