Event narrative

The Sawlog fire was discovered the afternoon of May 1 in the area west of Wise River and northeast of Wisdom (Around 15 miles NE) in the Sawlog creek drainage. The cause of the fire was undetermined, with fuels involved being timber, sagebrush, and short grass. The fire grew to 2,030 acres before becoming 100% contained on June 22.
