A convectively induced outflow gust that funneled through the Tijeras Canyon reached a peak gust of 66 mph. No lightning was observed at the Sunport.

Amidst afternoon thunderstorm activity, outflow gusts surging through the Tijeras Canyon produced severe wind gusts that blew up abundant amounts of dust in the southern Albuquerque metro area. This dust produced an area of low visibility.
