As a surface low moved east from the Midwest into the Great Lakes region, it pulled a trailing cold front east over the Ozarks and towards the Lower Ohio Valley. This pushed an area of showers and thunderstorms east over southern Indiana and north central Kentucky. Some of these storms produced isolated wind damage and severe hail.
