A tree was blown down onto a carport and outbuildings during a period of heavy rain following earlier thunderstorms.

Wider weather episode

A round of severe weather impacted a portion of the south and southeast areas with swaths of wind damage, some significant, as a supercell storm tracked across the area late during the evening of the 8th. Additional storms developed during the morning hours of the 9th and produced hail.
