Event narrative

Significant straight-lined wind damage was observed on the north side of New Hebron where numerous trees were downed and several homes sustained roof damage, mostly to flashing, gutters, and shingles. A few sheds and outbuildings also sustained damage. Maximum winds were estimated at 75 mph.

Wider weather episode

On the evening of April 5th into the morning of April 6th, strong to severe storms produced tornadoes, damaging winds and flash flooding.
