Event narrative

Severe roof damage to a home on Northwood Dr with part of the roof collapsing into the home. Several other homes experienced roof damage with several trees down across the area.

Wider weather episode

A warm front lifting north across the area resulted in additional moisture advecting into the region, which enhanced atmospheric recovery. An increasing low-level jet enhanced the risk for severe storms. A supercell was able to form and flourish, and cause significant wind damage during the evening hours.
