In Providence, dozens of trees were down across the city, including two dozen in Roger Williams Park. A utility pole was also downed.

A cold front dropped through southern New England in the afternoon and evening causing a line of strong storms to move through CT, RI, and southeast MA causing wind damage in each state. Eastern CT also saw hail from quarter to golf ball sized.
